21 dog-friendly patios in Vancouver to visit if you want to support local

These local coffee shops, breweries and restaurants all have outdoor space for your pup to join you.

In light of the recent restrictions on indoor dining in Vancouver, this month more than ever it's important to support your favourite local spots in the city, and luckily, you don't have to leave your pup at home to do so. Although dogs aren't allowed inside premises where food is being prepared or served, as per B.C. Public Health regulations, many Vancouver businesses take pride in being inclusive of our four-legged friends.

These 21 local businesses all have outside seating areas with space to keep your pup close to you, and love welcoming our furry friends. So if you feel comfortable with visiting a patio with your favourite four-legged household member, then these are for you.

However, if you'd prefer to support local from the comfort of your own home, ordering pick-up or takeaway to curl up and enjoy with your pup by your side sounds pretty good to us!
