This Vancouver store allows you to put your dog’s face on YOUR mask

Design your own face mask by uploading a photo of your pup and you can show everyone how much you love your furbaby.

As we're all being encouraged to wear masks in public spaces here in BC, why not make the experience a bit more fun?

The team at Vancouver gift store MAKE is adding some entertainment to the mask-wearing experience by selling a design-your-own option - and you can put a picture of your furry pride and joy on yours.

That's right, dog owners can have a picture of their pup's face on their own custom face mask by simply uploading a photo to MAKE's online designers and for added convenience, you can do it on your phone. Is it just us, or is this idea genius?!

As it was announced yesterday that face masks will be mandatory on Metro Vancouver's public transit system from August 24, many Vancouverites are in search of a high quality, reusable mask.

With both adult and kids sizes available for $19.50, these 100% polyester face masks are fully customizable, have a filter pocket for added protection and come with 2 removable filters.

Even better, for every mask purchased from MAKE, they will donate one to Hollyburn Family Services Society, so you are helping to make a difference in our community.

As Granville Island’s longest running retailer, MAKE is very popular with locals - so much so that they opened a 3000 square foot pop-up boutique store in Gastown in May to sell their unique and creative designs.

If you don't have your own pup but are a dog lover, there are some great pet images in the store's online library you can choose from, including a husky and beagle option.

So open up that camera roll and get scrolling, because we all need to something to smile about right now, and let's face it, how could you not smile if you saw someone wearing their dog's face on their mask next time you went grocery shopping?
