Like coffee, pups and pizza? This Yaletown outdoor activity is combining them all this weekend

This socially distanced dog-inclusive day out in Yaletown includes delicious coffee and puppy pizza!

If you love great coffee, cute puppies and tasty pizza, and want to get outside to enjoy the last of the summer sun this weekend, then this activity is for you.

Back by popular demand, PawSwap is hosting its fourth Sunday Strolls activity in Vancouver this weekend - a safe way to reunite with fellow dog owners, enjoy some of the city's finest coffee and pizza, and treat our pups at the same time.

This entirely outdoor, physically distanced activity, in partnership with Sciué Italian Bakery Caffé, is taking place this Sunday, October 4, and promises great coffee as well as delicious pizza that both you and your pup can enjoy - yes, you read that right, puppy pizza!

Beginning at Sciué Caffé in Yaletown, this activity will start off with a fresh cup of drip coffee and pizza (for the humans and doggos), followed by a guided 15 minute walk with Masina, the positive reinforcement dog trainer behind Q & A Dog Training.

Ending at Coopers' Park, the dogs can play around and connect more with each other while owners can ask Masina any training questions they have.

Attendees will also get their hands on their very own swag bag full of goodies from local Canadian companies (worth over $40) put together with love by the PawSwap team, all included in the $23 ticket price. See a full list of items included here.

If you don't have a dog of your own, but still want to come along and be surrounded by puppies (because, who wouldn't?!), you can get a ticket for just $14, and will still receive a swag bag of goodies.

"We've asked our local dog community what they would be comfortable with and they expressed how much they were ready, and excited, to reunite outdoors," explains Carly Geill, Marketing Manager of PawSwap.

"So, we listened and came up with this safe outdoor activity; something for us to do together in a small group, while keeping socially distanced."

Hand sanitizer and tape markers to ensure distancing in line-ups will be present on the day and all COVID-19 safety guidelines will be adhered to.

As this is a small group activity with limited tickets, only a few spots remain so if you want to make some fun plans that include coffee, pizza and puppies, make sure to grab your ticket today before they're gone.
