Hoppy Hound Contest Rules and Terms and Conditions

During the activity, please note that:


  • You must be over 19 and of legal drinking age to participate in this activity, interact with this site, or participate in the activity. By doing any of the above, you are confirming that you’re 19 and abide by the laws of British Columbia.

  • ‘Visit a Brewery’ entries can only be collected from each brewery once throughout the duration of Hoppy Hound. Multiple visits/orders will not increase your entries.

  • ‘Try a Feature Beer’ entries can only be collected for one beer per brewery visited throughout the duration of the activity. Multiple beers during your visit, or purchasing again on a different occasion, will not increase your entries.

  • Extra entries for PawSwap Premium Members will only be added for tasks completed after you upgrade, and cannot be backdated.


  • ‘Follow on Instagram’ entries will not be eligible for any participants found to be following and unfollowing the Instagram accounts listed before the prize draws.

  • Any entries claimed falsely will not be approved, and any approved entries found to be misrepresented at any time during the activity will be deducted from the overall score.


  • PawSwap reserves the right to disqualify any participants found to be in breach of the above terms.

  • When submitting a photo in the ‘Photo of the Week’ task, you are also giving your consent for PawSwap to use this image for all marketing materials including website, social media, branding packages, etc. This photo may be altered with Hoppy Hound or PawSwap branding and logos.


  • Participants should follow all current COVID-19 health and safety measures when visiting breweries, including physical distancing, frequent hand washing, and wearing a mask or face-covering when not at your table. If you are sick, please stay home. Find more details on the COVID-19 Safety Plan here.

  • Remember to only visit breweries with your household, or core bubble as per the current provincial COVID guidelines, and adhere to the COVID Safety Plan put in place by the business to keep yourself, and others safe.

  • Please be aware that participation in the Hoppy Hound does not guarantee seating at breweries upon arrival, so to be sure to call ahead and make a reservation if required.


  • PawSwap does not promote excessive drinking and is not responsible or liable for the actions of any person participating in this activity.

  • Participating breweries all have dog-friendly options, including outside seating areas where there is space to keep your pup close to you, so you can still enjoy a beer together! Please do not leave your dog alone though, and ensure he or she is always in plain sight. Please note that PawSwap is not responsible if your dog is refused entry.


After the activity, please note:


  • Entries will be collected beginning March 1st at 12:00AM until March 31st 2021 at 11:59PM. No new entries will be counted towards the count if provided after March 31st 2021 at 11:59PM. Winner will be drawn at random and notified on Tuesday, April 6th, 2021 between the hours of 5:00PM to 6:00PM. All times are in Pacific Standard Time.

  • If the winner is unable to collect, unwilling to collect, or not responsive in collecting the prize, an alternate winner will be selected within 2 months, by or before May 6th 2021 at 12:00PM PST. All times are in Pacific Standard Time.

  • Prizes have no cash value, and cannot be transferred, or exchanged.

  • One participant cannot win both prize draws.  If the winner of the Top Entrants Draw is randomly selected for the All Entrants Draw, there will be a redraw to select another winner.


  • In order to claim the prize, participants must be 19 years of age or over, and the winner must correctly answer a math problem to prove their eligibility.


Ultimate Glamping Package Terms & Conditions:

  • Must be 25+ to rent the van and have a valid full drivers license in British Columbia, Canada. If winner is under 25, they must be accompanied by someone who is over 25 in order to claim the prize.

  • Basic Insurance is included, and more details on what is covered can be found at If the winner wishes to upgrade the Insurance, this will be at their own expense.

  • Pet Cleaning fee will be waived.

  • Bedding and kitchen accessories included in each rental.

  • 200km mileage per night plus an additional 500km will be included in the prize. Any kilometres beyond the 1,100km will be paid for by the prize winner.

  • Roadside Assistance services offered include tire change, fuel delivery, lock-out recovery and tow – as provided by Ford Roadside Assistance program.


  • Vehicle will come with a full tank of gas and must be returned with a full tank of gas. Additional gas is not included with the campervan prize rental.

  • Prize must be used before the end of 2021, and dates will be subject to availability.

  • Prize includes early pick up and late drop off. Early pick up is between 8am and noon. Late drop off is before 6pm on the final day of the rental.


  • Renter is responsible for all citations, fines and tolls while the vehicle is in their possessions. If Karma Campervans receives a citation after the rental, you authorize them to pay the ticket amount on your behalf. Karma Campervans is then authorized to charge the credit card on file for the fine amount plus a $50 service fee as per the Rental Agreement.

  • A refundable damage deposit of $1000 is required by the prize winner the day before pick-up, but will be back in your pocket within 7 days after drop off, assuming the campervan is in great shape, fuel is full and no other policies have been broken as per the Rental Agreement.

  • Renters will be responsible for ANY damage to the vehicle exterior, tires, interior and contents while the vehicle is in their possession and prior to checking it in after it is returned. It is the renter’s responsibility to thoroughly check the campervan prior to leaving Karma Campervans’ premises for any damage not recorded on the Vehicle Condition report, which is in the van and on file, and notify Karma Campervans via email with supporting imagery. It is also highly recommended that Renters take detailed photos or a video of the campervan when they drop off at the premises. Renter authorizes Karma Campervans to charge the credit card on file for the full cost of damages plus applicable service or potential loss of revenue fees.

  • Renter is responsible for all incidental expenses incurred during a breakdown.

  • By participating in this activity, you are confirming that you are complying to all local drinking laws. Please drink responsibly.
